Powered by the 5.4L Triton V8 Motor. Also equipped with an aftermarket ProCharger Supercharger. This thing is fast!! This truck has only 158,848 miles on it and has tons of life to go. I took it on a test drive for a few miles. Engine ran smooth and brakes stopped well. Transmission shifts a little hard into second. Please keep in mind this is a used vehicle and has average wear and tear for a 1998 vehicle. There may be some minor scratches on the body to be expected for the age. No major body damage was noticed during my inspection although the passenger side running board appears to be bent. There is a trim piece missing on the shifter and the upper trim pieces are missing on both inside doors. The inside trim panel on the tailgate is missing. The airbag light and the 4x4 light are currently on but we will have the mechanic check them out. There are 4 small screw holes in the lower dash. It appears something was mounted there at some point. All four tires are Hankook DynaPro AS with roughly 60% tread life remaining See pictures for details This vehicle will be selling at a "NO RESERVE" auction, however for any interested bidders there will be a Buy It Now price throughout the auction of $6995. On Apr-05-11 at 14:14:23 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: According to the 8th digit of the VIN (L) this truck has a 5.4L engine, not a 4.6L as stated.On Apr-07-11 at 13:30:55 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS: The mechanic pulled the truck in today to check the airbag light and 4x4 light. The computer readout on the Airbag light is Right front crash sensor. He said it could be a bad sensor or a broken wire along the line. As far as the 4x4 light goes, he said the actuator for the 4WD was unplugged and there were some broken wires. He repaired the wires and plugged the actuator back in and the 4wd light is still on. He said may need either an actuator or a new dial switch.
