THANK YOU AND WHOM EVER GETS THIS VAN FOR THIS PRICE IS A STEEL. i am selling a 1982 vw westy, this is a great camper. it has 21k miles on a new motor. it is a fuel injected 4 cyl' and it runs and drives great. she purrs like a little kitty cat. does not leak anything, just had her all done up. so she is ready to go. i would trust this westy to go anywhere as it is right now. the body is very straight with no rust. there are a few little rock chips and scratches, but nothing major on the inside or outside. the van was stored for a few years inside, but i took her out drained what little gas was in it, replaiced all the fuel lines and put a new fuel pump and some electrical work and have now been driving her everyday for the last month. i am selling her because we need the money. i was in an accident in 2009 that left me on life support and caused me to loose my job. i moved out to colorado to manage some car dealerships, which has been my job for the last 18 years when the accident happened. i was the manager of VW stores and i love the old westfalias. this one is in great condition, no accidents or panels replaced. it has a more powerful stereo system put in it with an amp and sub woofer. and new speakers all around it sound good. this westy even has cruise control, how fun is that? everything works last used was about 3 years ago. like i said it has in storage. when it was put into storage everything was drained and the van was on stilts. you can see by looking at the interior that it is all stock. there are no rips in the seats. could maybe use a little cleaning but that's it. the only bad on the van is the canvas on the pop up has a couple holes. a mouse ate through it while it was in storage. oh and the drivers side window crank is broke. i can get one for 10 dollars at the junk yard. so if that is something that you want i will get it for you. just let me know. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS VAN UNLESS YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER AND HAVE THE MONEY AND THE OK FROM YOUR SPOUSE. THE ONLY REASON THIS VAN IS BEING SOLD IS WE NEED THE MONEY. SO THE DEAL HAS TO GO SMOOTH OR MY FAMILY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY THE BILLS FOR LAST MONTH.
