Honda issued a recall on the Rancher TRX350 in late 2000 for the possibility of an improperly welded mounting bracket on the front suspension. Engine and Power The 2000 Honda Rancher 350 is powered by a 329-cc, air-cooled engine with an overhead valve configuration meant to minimize its footprint. Bore and stroke measure 3.09 inches and 2.67 inches, respectively. The engine is paired with a five-speed transmission including reverse and ultra-low first gears, and an automatic, heavy-duty clutch. The ATV also features an electric starter with auxiliary recoil. The 2000 FourTrax Rancher 350 has an independent, double-wishbone suspension in the front with 5.9 inches of travel, paired with a swing arm and single shock in the rear. It has triple-sealed hydraulic front drum brakes and sealed, mechanical rear drum brakes. A stainless steel exhaust header and muffler are designed to resist corrosion.
