Vehicle Detail
"You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda". Hi You are bidding on a very nice 1977 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing. Comes with a CLEAR TITLE. Ser. No. GL13018336 This bike starts right up and runs right down the road. I took it for a ride today, March 31, 2011. I rode it 10 miles and it rode good. Everything works, speedometer, tach, cruise control, etc.. The bike has new plugs, fresh oil and filter change, new air filter, changed rear end fluid. I was thinking about going to an electronic ignition but have not changed it over. The bikes comes with 2 new tires even though the ones on the bike are decent. It has the D.I.D. Aluminum rims. It comes with the original tool kit AND the original owner's manual. The paint is good and the luggage carriers all open and close and lock and unlock. It has a Vetter Windjammer Fairing on it too. The seat is in very excellent condition, like new. The exhaust pipes are in very good condition withb no holes and the chrome on the bike is excellent. No dents. There is one small little acid drip on the left exhaust chrome cover. The battery is a newer battery and charges great and lights everything up real good. The electric starter works good and the bike starts right up. Just pull out the choke and push the starter button. Please ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID. I TRY TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS THE BEST I CAN. THIS BIKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE. IT IS NOT A RESTORATION BUT AN ORIGINAL BIKE. The bike is very clean as you can see but it is not a perfect concours restoration, so, if that is what you are wanting, then I suggest you look elsewhere. However, if you desire to have an original piece of HONDA HISTORY, that you can drive down the road today, then this bike is for you!! PAYMENT: MUST BE PAID IN FULL WITHIN 3 DAYS MAXIMUM AND I REQUIRE A $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE EARNEST DEPOSIT UPON YOU WINNING THE AUCTION. I WOULD LIKE THIS BY PAY PAL BUT WILL ACCEPT OTHER MEANS OF PAYMENT IF YOU MAKE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS WITH ME BEFORE YOU BID. THANKS. SHIPPING: THIS IS A LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. THE BUYER MUST ARRANGE THEIR OWN SHIPPING. USHIP IS A GOOD VENUE TO USE TO FIND A SHIPPER. I HAVE MANY THAT I HAVE USED FROM USHIP AND THEY ARE RELIABLE. I deliver up to 150 miles for a flat fee of $150.00. FEEDBACK: I STRIVE FOR YOUR 5 STARS ON ALL THE FEEDBACK BULLET POINTS. SO PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. On Apr-01-11 at 11:03:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Serial Number of the Bike is GL13018336. I had an old serial number from a CB350 in the title and ebay won't let me revise it becasue there are bids on the bike. strange, these ebay executives. On Apr-04-11 at 15:25:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Please understand that on my NO RESERVE auctions, DO NOT wait until the last minute to snipe. I end the auctions early IF the bidding isn't where the bike should be. So, IF you are interested in this bike, my suggestion is to bid sooner than later. NO sales after the auction is over. It stays in my collection. Thanks, Tom. Any questions? Call me: 517-403-2679On Apr-05-11 at 15:17:13 PDT, seller added the following information: i took the bike for a nice ride today-- a little cool but the bike ran excellent for me in the cold. it started right up this morning with full choke. once warm, i drove it about 20 miles. it was very windy out there today. the bike rode real good and shifts great. clutch works great. radio works. low beam on headlight stopped working for some reason? high beam is working fine. the bike has a fesh oil and filter change, new air filter, fresh rear gear oil, new plugs, carbs adjusted, cables lubed,...did it all myself..... it comes with 2 new tires. i would replace the front tire for sure with the new one. the rear, your option. it looks fine to me. all the lights worked fine, turn signals perfect, rear lighting on sadlebags works fine. i also greased the rear driveshaft. the guy who owned it before me took really good care of it becasue the oil was very clean and so was the gear lube. he kept it indoors. thanks.
