I'm losing money at my Buy it Now Price and will either part it out or fix it myself, repaired it's worth a minimum of $3500. to anyone, anywhere! Was told by a customer of mine that this Jeep has 355 gears, it has 4 wheel disc brakes, the rear ends, transmission and transfer case would cost you over $2000. if you needed them, this is a bargain! Jeep owners like these trucks so they can get rid of drum rear brakes on Wranglers and CJ's. Please see my other items, I also have a 1999 Land Rover Discovery II that I'm SELLING AT NO RESERVE: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, high and low range transmission, straight 6 engine, automatic, power windows, doors, locks, tilt, cruise, aluminum wheels, power steering, power disc brakes, air condition, am/fm/cd stereo. Was in a minor collision, needs headlamps, turn signals, grille is broken but usable. The engine needs work, it has a knocking sound, does not sound like a rod, it does not smoke and has 40# oil pressure. It has a miss like a rocker arm off or broken and is under powered, I have not checked it out but it might be an easy fix but may have to be rebuilt so bid accordingly. I checked on carparts.com and found engines as low as $400. in fact Browns Salvage Yard in Corinth Ms. has one. I drove it last week and the transmission works as well as the 4 wheel drive and hi/lo range. Brakes are good, interior is worn and headliner is sagging, the body is in great condition other than the front pieces I mentioned earlier, paint shines and I see no rust anywhere. It also has the towing package with a class 3 receiver hitch and trailer light connector. Will have a Tennessee Salvage title, once you complete the repairs you can get a rebuilt title and tag it. No warranty as it's a used SUV that needs repairs, bring a trailer, you can not drive it home, will be a great project when finished. Tn. residents will pay tax at time of sale.
