~1969 Volkswagon Beetle German made~1600 duel port(so I'm told) estimated to have less then 20,000 miles on rebuilt motor with aftermarket headers and aftermarket exaust ~Runs VERY well, starts every time (even at -23 degrees a month ago) Breaks work great, emergency break just fine, drives straight,Very reliable. ~Clean Colorado Title ~Very Solid 95 % rust free, I found a very minimal rust under passenger side door and some surface rust in hood compartment near tank, Heater channels appear to be solid and put out great heat) pan is amaizingly solid and straight, No rust in battery area! ~Recently tuned by local Vw Specialist including new Bosch spark plugs, wires, points, distributer cap, rotor etc. fresh oil, new gas filter, new fuel pump. Carberator and timing adjusted for high altitude (I live at 8,800 ft!) ~Bumpers are from a 1965 sedan mounted with empi conversion brackets, in decent shape with some dings and usual wear. ~ Interior seats have new covers in front and back, Headliner was partially installed and taped up on sides, needs to be finished., new carpet kit installed, Overall the interior needs some tlc. ~Many extras including a set of snow tires never used, (size 5.60 r15 )rears are studded mounted and balanced on vw rims, These are very rare purchased at an estate sale 4ply military will last a life time( $400.00) new aftermarket rear window defroster, new Bosch 009 distributer with new points, rotor cap, etc.($175.00) in original box (These are extremely rare, Bosch stopped making these years ago, only cheap chinese are produced, Brand new Bosch Electronic ingition still in original box( 100.00) Also many various parts( extra lenses, fuel filter, etc. etc. etc.) ~ Paint is faded and some chips and would recomend a new paint job, but ok from a distance, Do not know if it is the original (probably not) ~Turn signal plastic and rubber seals in excellent condition( New Fender bead, New Front and rear turn signal lenses and rubber seals) ~ Horn and radio do not work. ~Classic Vintage style roof rack (Brand New) and the hard to find rear ski rack included with sale (Ski's not included) ~Tires are in great shape, Studded snows on the rear ~All chrome is there and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips! Driver's side rear quater window needs a new seal, it is not seated properly in the window frame (easy fix) ~Original spare tire and wheel in great shape, also original jack included. ~ This is a wonderful full restore canidate or drive it the way it is, I have not owned this beauty for very long but it has been my everyday commuter for the past 3 months or so, every where i go I get comments on what great shape its in, Hate to sell but I've got my heart set on a bus. ~Happy to answere any and all questions, I check email daily and will get back to you asap!
