On Feb-28-11 at 06:45:45 PST, seller added the following information: For those who would like to get a fair representation of the value of this vehicle, the paint work is brand new, the entire car has been thoroughly tested by a State of Florida certified mechanic here in Daytona Beach. Compression, engine, transmission, brakes, have all checked out fine. I installed new belts, battery, plugs, wires, distributor cap, and had some exhaust work done. This car is 95% show quality. I would not use this as a daily driver, there is just too much work already done to it. With new headlight inserts, rubber moldings at the base of the windows and customized chrome to the engine compartment, this will easily fetch $25,000 - $30,000 at auction. I am unemployed right now and simply have run out of money to continue to project. I do not want to sell this car, but economic conditions force me to do so. Vehicle is currently appraised at $20,000 by American Collectors Insurance. All documentation on the vehicle is available upon request. I have all original paperwork from the factory. On Mar-01-11 at 10:40:52 PST, seller added the following information: Clarification on the engine: This is an original factory installed 400 cu in. displacement engine which in 1973 only 1,991 were made with the automatic transmission. The only bigger engine for the Road Runner was the 440 GTX, which is extremely rare to find in the original car. Reserve is set well below the appraised value of $20,000. This is a great investment opportunity or a fantastic prize for the Road Runner enthusiast. See link for production figures below: http://beep2beep.tripod.com/Roadrunner_Production-Figures.html NO RESERVE - HAPPY BIDDING!!! On Apr-04-11 at 11:08:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle is for sale locally - per eBay policy I reserve the right to end the auction within 12 hours of auction deadline.
