This 1967 Mercedes 250SL is ready to be a daily driver or a perfect candidate for a complete restoration.Overall the condition of the vehicle is very good. We have both tops. Both tops are in good shape. The car starts up great and drives well. We have the Original Owners Manual. The Seats are in Great Shape. The car has all the chrome pieces (chrome in good shape too). This is an automatic transmission. We have the work order with following work done in 2008: -Reconditioned Cylinder Head; Includes New Valves and Springs (129 250SL/SE-C) -New Head Gasket Set -New Rocker Arms -Camshaft Reground -Cam Bearing Set to Fit -New OE Ball Stud Adjusters (M129//180) -New Lash Pads After our inspection (January 2011) a few things appear to have been recently done such as: -Transmission appears to have been overhauled (very clean as if it were overhauled) -New Starter -Radiator was serviced/re-cored -Looks like a new Alternator was put in with new belts -Steering linkage was replaced with new steering damper and drag link -Looks like new Brake Master Cylinder -Looks like new water pump -We installed a new transmission mount and both motor mounts -We just did a minor service including an oil change and spark plugs -Appears that heater/climate control knobs were recently replaced. We went through the whole car and it is in mechanically great shape and ready for daily driving We just changed the Oil & Filter.
