I am the President of a local car club and one of our members has decided to part with his "Mobster Car" (our clubs nickname). You can just picture Elliot Ness chasing some bad guys while hanging on the running broad. At any rate, the owner "Big Al" has turned 78 years young and asked me to help him find a home for his "Black Beauty". He has owned her for more than 25 years. She underwent a complete body off restoration a few years back and looks like she did when she was new. The motor was completely rebuilt and runs as smooth as a straight 8 should. She was built in California and was featured in the Movie Collission Course. (No she wasn't in the collision part). Since she was built in sunny (or smogy) California she was not optioned with a heater. So if you are up North that is something you will have to add. Everything works, even the clock and radio. While the paint looks great in the pictures, there are a few spots that are not perfect. A slight ding in the roof, and a few spots on the body are all that keep her from being perfect. The pictures show a perfect interior and that is correct. No wear any where. Headliner is tight and smooth. The wire wheels do show that they need a cleaning. "Big Al" would like to see her kept the way she is, however we all know that these cars are being turned into "Street Rods". If that is your wish, then you have a solid car to start with.
