100% original 1979 Chevy Malibu Classic. Clear Texas title Body style - white 2 door coupe notch back with red landau top Engine - 5 l with 4 bbl Actual mileage - 78,053 miles History of car - assembled in Arlington, Texas and bought new at Mahan Chevrolet in DeLeon, Texas by my mother-in-law. She was the only owner and driver until about age 75. No dents, but dinged and some chrome trim will need to be replaced. She faithfully kept the car maintained. Car never went further than 150 miles on any trip. Never driven out of state or near the coast. The Texas heat has baked interior plastic door panels and made brittle. Engine hoses are hard and vacuum hoses need to be replaced - actually all hoses will need replacing. When my mother-in-law stopped driving everything worked fine, engine, AC, radio, lights, brakes. No cracked windows. There are a few paint defects near the trim that have allowed rust damage and can be seen in the photos. No major rust in the body or frame. This car can not be started and driven as a daily driver as it sits today. This is a car that needs to be gone through carefully and refurbished back to its original state. Car will need to trailered. Reason for selling - car has set at my house since 2004 and wife says "fix it or sell it." I already have another car to fix and I gotta move this one.
