I have 1974 Pontiac Trans am that is an original 455 car. The Vin number decodes 455 with an automatic. I also have a Pontiac 455 engine with the 6X heads that will go with the car as well. The engine will need to be rebuilt. It is not numbers matching. There is no transmission but the drive shaft will go with the car. I bought this car for an easy restoration project. The sheet metal on the car is fairly good except for a few minor rust spots on the passenger side quarter panel and trunk which can be seen in the pictures below. The cabin floor pans are in good condition. It used to be a drag car, so there is a partial rollcage. The interior is in tact except for the two front seats which are loosely attached. Overall the car is very solid and will not take very much to get going. Due to a life change I am needing to sell this car. My loss is your gain! Please email me with any questions or offers.
