Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my pro-touring styled 1969 Camaro convertible, it is not an original SS car but has been dressed out as such. The car runs and drives very well and is a total blast to cruise around in. I purchased this car about two years ago from a local classic car dealer and have driven it very less than 1,000 miles. The car came with a lot of documentation and I have since spoke with the previous owner who owned the car for several years before selling it to the local dealer I bought it from. All of this leads to the 61,000+ miles seeming to be the correct original mileage as best as myself and the previous owner can tell. This car is completely solid with original rust free floors and trunk. Engine is a strong 350 with dual flow-master exhaust that sounds very strong. Car starts right up every time and runs strong. There is a battery disconnect switch that I use when the care is going to be sitting in the garage. I also use it as a security feature when I am parking it somewhere in public. Suspension and handling is much better than the car would have been new from the factory, it travels down the freeway straight as an arrow with one hand on the wheel. The front has Global West tubular A-arms, adjustable coil-over shocks and 2” drop spindles. Front brakes are Wilwood with black calipers and drilled / slotted rotors. Even with the car sitting low it is very drivable. Wheels are Coys’, the fronts are 18” and the backs are 20”. Tires have good tread, fronts are 225/40/18 and the rears are 225/30/20. Power top has been replaced and is in great condition, power mechanism and frame works well, rear window does show some wear from top being raised and lowered but let’s be honest it doesn’t really matter because you are always going to drive it with the top down. Interior is in great condition, I just replaced the carpeting because there was some wear on the one that was in the car. Paint is overall in good condition, there is one scratch on the top of the passenger front fender that has been touch-up painted. Since the car is over 40 years old there are some imperfections but they are minor, they are as follows: The switch that the brake pedal makes contact with to turn the brake lights on and off sticks sometimes which causes the brake lights to stay on. I just ordered a new one and it will be included with the car. The ignition key is now stuck in the ignition, I just ordered a complete new ignition and keys that will be included with the car. The stereo is a cheap poor performing one that I didn’t ever worry about replacing because I didn’t drive the car enough. The good news is that the dash and door panels are not cut up. I am only selling this car because I have another hotrod project that I am finishing and I will need the garage space. If I had unlimited space and funds this car would not ever be for sale, my loss is your gain. This car is also a great start if you wanted to build a supercar type of pro-touring vehicle, you could drop an LS engine in this and be well on your way to building a strong six-figure car. Buy it now price is what I paid a couple of years ago. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty offered or implied. I also reserve the right to end this auction early in the event of a local sale. Shipping is your responsibility but I will help coordinate and load from my end if need be. Good Luck & Happy Bidding!!
