Check my feedback, I sold one just like this last month. I started it out with a low bid with no reserve and a Buy it Now option very similar to this one, somebody started the bidding with the minimum bid which caused the Buy it Now option to go away, it sold to the highest bidder for $2600. I think this truck is a little nicer than the one that sold. PLEASE READ AUCTION COMPLETELY, THIS LAND ROVER NEEDS SOME WORK, IT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT IT CAN"T BE DRIVEN HOME. Would consider a trade for a nice bass or pontoon boat! 731-632-2620 Please see my other items, I also have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 that I'm SELLING AT NO RESERVE: Land Rovers are well known for being one of the BEST off road vehicles in the World, I've owned several of them and drive one everyday, I love the fact that I can go just about anywhere I want, leaving non Rovers in the dust. I'm starting this auction at $1650. just about what the transmission and 2 drive shafts are worth used! This 1999 Land Rover Discovery is loaded with all power options including heated leather power seats, steering wheel stereo controls, power windows, locks, cruise, tilt and cold air. AM/FM.CD factory 6 disc changer under passenger seat. Charcoal Charlie is what the wife named him, he runs real good but like most Land Rovers he's running hot after driving for a short distance, will need to be trailered or you can flat tow this one behind your pickup or motorhome without disconnecting any of the drive line.The motor is not rattling or smoking and seems to have plenty of power so it may just be head gaskets but I'm not guaranteeing anything. Interior is pretty nice, no rips or tears, there's normal wear as to be expected from a truck this age. the carpet is good, has floormats to protect them, the dash is perfect with no cracking and no butchering. there are NO SMELLS inside this truck, I'm sure it was a non smokers rig. The body is nice, there's some paint fading on hood, and there's a minor spot on front bumper where it was hit, does not interfere with daily operation, no rust and no wrecks. It has a nice brush guard on it, not a cheap one either. The tires are good, the fronts are Bridgestones and the rears are Michelins. The brakes need to be looked at as they go low to the floor, the 3 amigos are lit on the dash, I will assist buyer with parts to repair if I have them. Most likely a module or wheel sensor, I have several parts trucks so I'll most likely have what is needed to make the lights go out. The power windows all work with exception of the sunroof. This will make somebody a great project, when finished you can head for the hills and have fun with the rest of us! They are awesome with a capital A!!! Just remember this is a no reserve auction, when it's over somebody will own this Rover. There is no warranty, Tn residents will pay state sales tax and the title will be signed into their name. Ask all questions prior to bidding, you will need to trailer or tow it home as it does run hot and you will destroy the engine by driving it. Battery has run down from sitting, I'll charge it prior to being picked up. I'm in Selmer Tn. 38375 I've listed this Rover again as there were several attempts to compromise or scam my auction. The starting price has changed because every time a seller lists a vehicle on ebay there's a insertion fee of $50.00, then there's other fees for pictures, reserve price, and duration of auction charges. This get's to be quite expensive and when a buyer does not pay the seller loses. I sold a 1998 Jeep twice in the past 2 months and it still hasn't been paid for, ebay got paid, I didn't. What really irritates me is the fact that anyone can sign up to bid, give a phony address and phone number, then bid on an item that they never intended to pay for. It doesn't matter to ebay as they get paid and then get paid again because the seller has to relist his item. I've changed the way I'll sell because nobody here seems to care. No more bidders without a paypal account, no more bidders with 0 feedback, immediate deposit thru paypal on buy it now formatted auctions. If all sellers were to take these precautions it would greatly improve buying and selling here. Any future attempts to ruin my auctions will be referred to the proper authorities.
