This is my 1990 Chevrolet ZR-1 Corvette. I purchased this vehicle from Desert Autosports in Scottsdale Arizona right here on ebay. It was the personal car of the owner of Desert Autosports Randy Koeppall. He owned it for 10 years and had it in storage for the 3 previous years until selling it to me. I am the 3rd owner according to carfax. This is one of the quickest, and fastest ZR-1s I have driven. It has the loudest and scariest exhaust note that is impressive to even the most critical of muscle car snobs. In Fact, the car was recorded at 135dbs and placed on the recording, "Life at 180" by the band Alive-N-Kickin. Add .net to the bands name to hear that track on their website. This Vette is also very evil looking with its Black on Black color scheme and interior. Tinted windows, blacked out tail lights and lowered stance. Rear end is lowered @ 3inches. Has high flow air intake in front. Performance chip. New Interstate Battery. Wagner Headers into cats and 3 inch pipes to resonators to fill out the rumbling sound. Chrome Zr-1 wheels(aftermarket),Glass Targa top. Pioneer aftermarket stereo and cd with kicker box in the rear compartment. So you sound as good as you look, if they can make out the black blur flying by!! I keep this car in my garage here in Maryland. I do drive it around town and to a lot of car shows. I will admit to occasionally breaking the speed limit,but I have never taken the car down the track or abused it by racing or other such activities that some vette owners do. I like this car and I'm to afraid of braking it.That said, the previous owner claimed he took it down the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds at almost 120mph on street tires!! I mostly take it to car shows and show it off to win trophies. Thus it is usually clay barred and waxed to the enth degree. I keep it as clean as I can. You will be happy. Some minor things. The car is 20 years old. If it has issues, they are mostly with the interior. Drivers seat is comfy and worn in. No tears, but most of the buttons and lumbar controls need repaired. One speaker on right side is cracking, I will try to replace this week. Some of the plastic trim pieces around the hatchback are there, but the screw have cracked or need replaced. Nothing major or unsightly. Infl rst light is on the dash, this is a sensor for the airbag and a typical problem on ZR-1's. Typical issues with ZR-1s that have been addressed on this car are Starter has been replaced, Headlight motors have both been replaced. Fuel injectors were all replaced. New tires were put on last summer. I replaced Drive shaft and steering column whe I first got the car. Otherwise I have only done routine maintnence (oil changes,Fluid Flushes,etc). Nothing Major.
