Vehicle Detail

!977 Chevy El Camino Classic. Arizona car Virtually rust free. Under the hood:Engine is a Chevy 350, with edelbrock carb. Runs very strong. Drove it back from Lake Havasu where I bought it, to Tempe where i live yesterday. There is a brand new battery, new alternator, new fuel pump. Fresh Oil change and Transmission fluid. The car barreled down the highway smoothly. The transmission shifts perfectly. I am confident I could have drove this vehicle to the east coast without a hitch. This can definietly be your daily driver without a second thought. There was no hesitation at all when you hit the gas. Very strong runner. The body:No rust on the body or the underside of the car. The paint is definitely oxidized under the AZ sun. This car will need a paint job at your leisure. The doors do not sag at all and open and close perfectly. All of the chrome is in tact but will need some new fasteners at some point on the tail gate. I clearly show the body in the video. Underside of the car:There is a little bit of surface rust here and there but I show everything in the pictures in the video. This car is virtually rust free and straight. There is a small oil leak that if i were to guess is coming from the rear seal. Shock struts brakes are all very good. Inside the car:The seats we reupholstered in the last year and are in good condition. the dash has a cover but also has some cracks here and there. The speedometer cable needs to be fixed. The stereo works it is an am/fm cassette player. The Ac unit is all there and in tact but it is not working. The fuel gage gets a little goofy when you get down to half tank. The doors are in relatively good condition other than the tear I show in the video. The headliner needs to be replace. Around $125 online and the carpet should be as well. $150 on ebay. Thanks for looking. The title is free and clear. Also I did sell a 75 el Camino on here and someone accidentallybid $50,000. Obviously they won the bid. If you accidentally bid to high please retract it from your end. Also feel free to come see the car ion person if your in the phoenix area. If you have any questions at all please call me at 602 810 7688. On Mar-25-11 at 08:08:21 PDT, seller added the following information: http://www.flickr.com/photos/54680288@N05/ Copy and paste or click on the above link for more photos on my flickr account of the car. I have gotten questions about the mileage. The odometer reads under 27,000. Obviously this must be under 127,000 miles. Feel free to pull a carfax with the VIN#. The speedometer cable needs to be replaced. I had someone ask me if they bought this car could they drive it to Denver. I would have no qualms about getting in this car and driving it 12 hours. This is a clean title and title is in hand. Also I specialize in finding Arizona Rust free cars for people at a great price. If you like this car but do not win the auction I can still get you an El Camino or any other classic. Usually I can find the car your looking for in less than 3 weeks. Call me if you have any questions or are interested in any other cars. Bob 602-810-7688.
