NEAR DEATH OF PRIMARY VEHICLE FORCES SALE OF PROJECT CAR!! please read all before emailing questions. 1971 Volkswagen SuperBeetle, I bought it last summer, have had a lot of work done on it both by myself and proffessionally. WHATS BEEN DONE done to the car, engine rebuilt by previous owner, Front Disc Brake conversion, New Brake Master Cylinder, New Brake lines, New brake shoes, one new ebrake cable, new rear cylinders, New Fuel Lines, fuel filters, fuel pump, carberator, distributor, coil, plugs,wires, recent valve job, preheater hoses, fresh airbox hoses, fan switch, clutch cable and adjustment, shifter, rebuilt frontend, with new tierods, tierod ends, ball joints, torsionbars, steering knuckles, steering couplershaft, new strut inserts, rebuilt strut assemblies, front end alignment, rear shocks, steering wheel with wolfsburg crest, front bumper, new tires, replica of volkswagen am radio but when turned on is digital am/fm with mp3hookup it glove box, retrosound indash stereo speaker. new speedometer ring. new tires. HERE ARE THE BRAND NEW PARTS THAT COME WITH THE CAR but not installed: side and hood crome strips with clips, VW hood emblem, Volkswagen hoodscript, crome side vents, crome headlight rings, left vent window assembly, crome hood vent, crome trunk vents, crome fender guards, tail light seals, rubber bumper molding (front) license plate bracket, complete front turn signal assemblies, rear taillight side reflectors, rear hatch seal, running boards with matts, door seals, hood seal, window seals with plastic crome stripping, dash vents, 3 point seatbelts, armrests, window cranks, thumb guards, door switch, new carpeting for entire vehicle (trunk, front and rear passenger, and rear cargo area) sound proofing (tarpaper and foam) new foam seat pad for driverseat, complete set of new seat covers (black weave) new interior panels (front doors and rear quarters with clilps and insulators) ebrake cover, original hubcaps Here is what it needs, possibly a new clutch (supposedly it was new, but its rubbing even after adjustment) windsheild, drivers door skin, driverside rear quarter panel (both are rusted) new floor panels, headliner, rear bumper, glovebox insert, horn contact plate needs to be hooked up, ( horn works) turn signals work intermittenly (but has new relay switch) spare tire (has one but its old and doesnt hold air) front right fender bowed, rear fenders have old dents with bondo filled in, front lower grill dented, needs a good sanding and paint job, lots of little oxidation spots. fresh airbox motor not working (have the part with the car to fix) a little carb adjustment and timming adjustment (I have it close but not perfect) cash or inperson at bank transfer of payment local pickup only, yes you can drive it home, I have been driving it to work lately, it runs and drives like a new old car
