Up for Auction is My 1959 Edsel 4 door Sedan Which is a Original Black on Black car But had been repainted by the previous owner , which I think would benefit from a good cut and buff job Since We have own it , We have rebuilt the Carb. replaced the air filter and new plugs and wires with cap and Rotor ,u -joints and new tires all around and changed the wiper motor to Electric and Rearview mirror to Day/Nite mirror , replaced the valve cover and gasket and other minor and not so minor things . There is still several things needing to be worked on or replaced one being the heater core which we have plenty cores to choose from and there is some Exterior door trim that will need replacing and we have those replacements here and they will go with the car . Also you will see in the pictures that I have provided that the previous owner before us , Patched a couple of small rust holes with small pieces of metal in the trunk . which we have replacement metal that will go with the car . We have been driving The Edsel on a daily basis since we got it and it has been alot of fun .I would say it is a reliable car and would be great to have As for the Odometer reading I believe it is correct by studying the milage logs kept in the 70's and the fact it was stored alot by the previous owners ,The data plate info. is in one of the pictures . We have also a stack of receipts that the previous owner's and Us had done to the car since as early as 1969 to present date ,in the stack is maintenance records of the 70's We believe that the car has been store alot in it's life time it comes with the original owners manual and a original Accessories manual .And It has a clear title which will be signed over when full payment is made and cleared . .
