Up for auction is my 1989 Chevrolet Suburban 2500…this is a really nice Suburban! This Suburban has been a southern owned vehicle since day one, this translates to ZERO rust anywhere. It runs and drives absolutely perfectly in every way. There are no annoying rattles, the doors, glove box ashtray etc are all tight and rattle free. If I didn’t have too many vehicles already I would hang on to this one. Almost all of the miles are obviously highway miles as it drives JUST LIKE NEW! I don’t think anyone ever sat in the back and rarely, if ever, sat in the passenger seat. The point is, this is a great truck in outstanding condition. There are no rips in the seats at all, the door panels are in outstanding condition and the headliner is brand new! The dash does have some cracks in it but the dash caps or replacement pads are not very expensive. The driver side rear window has a crack in it, but I have a brand new window that goes with the Suburban and is included in this auction. This Suburban rides and drives GREAT!!! The brakes are firm and smooth with no pulling, pulsing or squealing. For the tires, it has a very nice set of 10 ply Continental tires that are in great shape with no cupping or uneven wear, vibrations or sounds. The exhaust is new with a flowmaster 3 chamber muffler, it sounds really nice but not obnoxiously loud. The windshield is in PERFECT condition with no cracks or stars. The AC is so cold you can’t run it wide open no matter how hot it is outside and the rear AC blows cold and quiet as well! All the power window lifts work properly, the power locks all function from both buttons, the cruise is also in perfect working order. This Suburban has the rare overhead console with courtesy lights and a place for your garage door opener. It has the 454 V8 and an automatic transmission (TH400) which is a bullet proof combination. It would make an excellent family, camper or boat hauler. The transmission fluid is pink and smells fresh, it shifts and operates perfectly. The engine starts easily thanks to the fuel injection and runs smooth and powerfully with no rattles, knocks, no blowby and no smoke or leaks!!!
