1951 Ford pickup, and older gentleman completed a frame on restoration approximately 5 years ago and drove it as a daily driver. When he restored it he installed a new bed, new tailgate, new brakes, glass, rubbers, rebuilt the flathead, new bumpers, new wood in the bed, new wiring harness, and new exhaust. The paint is base coat clear coat but has some scratches from being driven and used everyday. This truck is super straight. I would say there is not a straighter truck on e-bay. The only rust on the truck was underneath on the inner cab corners. He did not repair it and said there was none on the outer cab corners. The truck is still 6 Volt and starts right up everytime. I have driven the truck quite a bit since I bought it. It drives great, runs cool, holds great oil pressure, head lights, tail lights, dash lights, 2 speed wipers, heater, and brake lights work. The truck needs a speedometer cable, the gas guage doesn't work, the headlight rings are pitted, the horn doesn't work, and the wood in the bed needs to stripped and re-varnished. He said he had the tranmission rebuilt but it will jump out of second sometimes when you gear down. The rear end and transmission are quiet and the truck is very tight. I'm not afraid to get in it and drive it anywhere! I am the 4th owner of the truck. This truck would make you a heck of a shop truck! It is not a show truck but would show well at the small home town shows or cruise ins! The truck is sold as is where is and is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
