Vehicle Detail

1970 was the last year for me when true American GM muscle cars ended, you could still purchase one of these icons on Friday, go to the track on Sunday and go home that evening with the trophy. These 396 375 horse cars I feel where under rated just like the LS6 chevelle was rated at 450 horse power when it was actually over 500. These cars are getting harder and harder to find with any of the original equipment left, let alone to retain the original engine which by the way was checked by the previous owner before he purchased it and the assembly did spin free. This car is priced affordable for an original motor car and not too many people can say that especially when these high horse engines were blown up and destroyed early in life. This was the last year for the high horse 1970 Nova with the L78 option 396 375 hp This auction is for a 1970 SS Nova L78 396CI 375HP with 66,462 original miles, which are documented on the Pennsylvania Certificate of Title. This is a project car that has been sitting outside in the elements since 1986 and requires a full restoration (exterior, interior and drive train), but worth restoring with a rare and desirable color combo. I purchased two rust free doors, a rust free hood and a rust free deck lid that are included with the car. This Nova still retains the original BORN with engine (T1222CKO) that has not been decked. The block # 3968854 has not been bored and still has the original factory pistons. The heads, distributor, carburetor, alternator and exhaust manifolds are all incorrect components for this Nova. The non-original Muncie transmission is an empty case that was placed to balance out the engine. The 12 bolt 308 posi-traction rear is also not the original. The original big block specific parts are still present; engine frame mount or stands, heater core / box and the big block cross member. Arrangement to have the car picked up is the responsibility of the auction winner. The vehicle doesn't run and has no brakes, but does roll and steer to get onto a trailer or rollback. No warranty has been expressed or implied, but I guarantee the vehicle to be as presented a real L78. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required immediately after the auction ends. The Nova is available for inspection any time prior to the auction ending and is strongly encouraged.
