1982 Suzuki RM250 We are excited to offer this exceptional 1982 Suzuki RM250 AHRMA Post Vintage MX bike. The 1982 RM250 is one of the most sought after bikes for the Ultima 250 class. The full floater rear suspension is arguably the best rear suspesion of the era! This bike is a go to the gate race ready example! We bought this bike out of CA from an AHRMA racer who was thinning out his stable of racers. This bike is low hour and fresh. Only 2 races since the racer resto. OEM Suzuki plastics were used to restore a few months back. The gas tank is in amazing orginal condition. Bridgestone tires have good tread left. Fork seals are fresh. Rear suspension was rebuilt (Racetech) and has an Eibach spring. Motor had a top end done at the time of resto. Pro Form hand made pipe and silencer. Cases are nice and straight. Pro taper bars. Wicked tough tank decals. New side panel decals and number plate backgrounds. The seat cover is blue like the 83 model which just was the previous owner's personal prefernce. Renthal sprocket and Renthal gold series chain. Original gold rims with clean spokes. This is the classic example of someone spending thousands and thousands of dollars building a race ready bike and now you have the opportunity to purchase at a fraction of the cost!! We have included numerous detailed images for your review as well as a video of the bike cranking and idling. This is a chance to own a piece of MX history. This is a very nice example that you could be very proud of at any vintage race. The reserve is set at what we believe is very reasonable based on the cost and the time of restoration. Please tally up the parts in your mind and then the time it takes to strip / clean / dissasemble / lace wheels / mount tires / rebuild engines etc......and then bid accordingly!
