Vehicle Detail
Ultra rare 1975 Audi 100 ls on air ride by Tomas Sport Tuning- tomassporttuning.com. The car is a very nice driver with around 68k original miles. I bought the car from the nephew of the original owner and TST went through all the mechanicals so it could be driven daily. TST also custom fabricated an air ride kit complete with switches. The body is very straight and the paint shines and has a gloss like new. Paint is original except the brown roof which we had painted just for looks. Interior is very nice too with just a couple cracks on dash pad and some minimal wear in the butt of the drivers seat. The German square weave carpet is in exceptional shape. All the trim and plastic bits are present and look like new. Door panels are new condition as well. All electrical, gauges, and lights work including the 8 track player and the clock in the cluster. The air suspension rides very nice. In my opinion it rides way nicer than the original strut set up. You can choose the ride height and also adjust for carrying heavier loads. When parked you can set it all the way down and the whole car sits on the ground. I have put well over $10k in this project and since the work was completed have put less than 10k miles on it. Here is just some of the work put into this car and also general info- 1.6 early CIS engine. runs like a sewing machine. 3 speed auto has been serviced and resealed. Improved engine mounts fabricated and installed. Ancient air conditioning removed. Created a lot more room in the engine compartment and removal of the compressor allowed for a stronger, wider belt. Tach added in factory blank spot in cluster. New exhaust fabricated and routed to allow for maximum lowering of air bags. New brakes including new front calipers and pads, new master cylinder, and new shoes on rear drums. Also e-brake adjusted. New Dunlop tires are a couple years old but have less than 10k miles on them. The only cons are there is a small amount of surface rust in the corners of the trunk and the ignition switch is getting old and should be replaced. Not hard to do- I just haven't tracked the part down yet. It still works but sometimes you have to manually turn it back a half click after the car is started to turn the starter off. Also the plastic gear in the odometer just broke- the car has been driven less than 1k miles since this happened. The amazing condition of the paint and interior support the low miles. I am selling this car for a friend, I know NOTHING about it, any and all questions will be forwarded to him There is no Rust underneath International shipping is not a problem On Mar-19-11 at 01:50:26 PDT, seller added the following information: SAVE MONEYON SHIPPING! uShip is the first and largest auction stylemarketplace for shipping and transportationservices.
