1977 Mercedes Benz 280SE. This is a magnificent car -- very clean. I have over $6,000 in this car including a new battery and new muffler. Inside is immaculate. Excellent condition. For the true affectionado. Tires have half life on them. Two mechanics have informed me that it needs a new water pump, approximate charge, $295 plus installation. I have reduced the price from $5,500 to account for the repairs needed. It does not overheat because I would not drive it without a water pump -- and the pump was caught prior to overheating. It is an old car and should be towed to its new location. I purchased the car on eBay and drove it from LA to Las Vegas, approximately 350 miles. If you are not a mechanic, I would consider this a wonderful parts car. It does not look like it was ever in an accident, as all the panels look exceptionally clean. It has the original paint, which is faded in sections. Other than that, it's a perfect collection item. Will review all offers. My loss is your gain.
