NO RESERVE AUCTION - HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!!! This is a clean, black 1999 Crown Victoria built from the Ford factory as a dedicated Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV). This is an extremely low-mile former Police Interceptor with Only 69,125 actual miles!!! SAVE $$$ This car runs on compressed natural gas (CNG). SAVE $$$ This car starts easily, the engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere (providing I had a plan to re-fuel the vehicle). The car has just under a full tank of CNG currently, and I was told it has extended range tanks. Check out the Experian AutoCheck score!!! It's way higher than the range for a similar 1999 traditional car. Why drive a CNG vehicle? Save money, save time, protect the environment, protect the USA! SAVE TIME - CNG vehicles allow you to drive in HOV, car pool lanes alone in the car. PROTECT THE USA - CNG is a DOMESTIC fuel from the USA increasing our energy security. Natural gas vehicles are an immediate solution to the nation's energy security needs. Most of the natural gas consumed in the United States is produced domestically or by politically stable countries, and an extensive natural gas infrastructure exists. Using natural gas vehicles instead of conventionally fueled vehicles reduces U.S. dependence on foreign oil and increases energy security. JOBS - Natural gas contributes $385 billion annually to the U.S. economy and supports more than 2.8 million American jobs. SAVE MONEY - Switch & Save money with natural gas. Read more about the direct use of natural gas and its impact on the U.S. economy and environment. Depending where you live and whether you’re filling up from a home pump or a commercial fueling station, natural gas costs the equivalent of $1 to $2.50 a gallon, versus the recent $3.55 per gallon national average for regular gasoline. Low maintenance costs. Because CNG is a cleaner-burning fuel, natural gas cars do not have to go in for maintenance checkups as often as regular gasoline-powered cars. PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT - Natural Gas Vehicles are cost efficient, safe and dramatically better for the environment than gasoline-powered vehicles. Compared with vehicles fueled by conventional diesel and gasoline, natural gas vehicles can produce significantly lower amounts of harmful emissions such as nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and toxic and carcinogenic pollutants as well as the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. Typical dedicated NGVs can reduce exhaust emissions of: Carbon monoxide (CO) by 70% Non-methane organic gas (NMOG) by 87% Nitrogen oxides (NOX) by 87% Carbon dioxide (CO2) by almost 20% below those of gasoline vehicles There are many reasons to drive a NGV / CNG vehicle rather than a gasoline or diesel car. Learn more about it here: Natural Gas Vehicles. from the U.S. Department of Energy. This is a great running, low-mileage vehicle, but there are a few issues i want to tell you about... The window tint is bubbling and flaking in some areas. I figure the new owner can decide if they want to replace it and how dark the new tint should be, -or- just remove the old tint and clean the windows. The drivers seat is worn, but can be easily remedied with a seat cover (or new seats from a Town car or Grand Marquis). The paint is good, but it is not a "show car" paint job. It looks great from 10 feet away, but does have some blemishes. There is a faint mark on the passenger side front door. It looks as though somebody might have buffed it too much. You can't see it in the pics but sometimes you can see a mark (especially in direct sunlight). There are a few minor dings here and there, but not as much as you would expect from a 1999 model. When the car was painted black, they did not paint the door jambs or the underside of the hood or trunk lid. There are some small holes in the dash where equipment was mounted and a bit of velcro and adhesive. NO RESERVE AUCTION - High bidder wins this LOW MILEAGE, great running, CNG, Crown Vic!!! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so these pics should say it all...
