1954 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE / 2 DOOR / 31,000 MILES? - NO RESERVE The car was purchased new in California and shipped to Michigan around 1980 where it was dry stored for 30 years. I bought it and here is a list of things that were done because of long storage: Radiator flushed and cleaned Water pump and all belts/hoses replaced Fuel system tank flushed and sealed Rebuilt carburetor and fuel pump All fluids drained and changed All brakes were inspected and cleaned and are excellent All bearings were inspected and packed It runs good, drives good, and shifts good. The four-speed hydromatic leaks a small amount on garage floor. Motor has 30# oil pressure. It is not a rusty car and the body mounts and frame are as solid as a rock. Small hole in floor where heel of boot would ride on driver side. Chrome needs to be redone to be perfect. Paint is faded and scratched. Power seat works as do the power windows, power steering and power brakes. The car has a new battery. The only rust on the body that I can see is starting to swell on the left lower fender. Dual exhaust is good. Has period correct wide white wall tires. That's all the bad stuff! It is a 60 year old survivor that cruises down the road great. The car shows 31,000 miles but I cannot guarantee that is correct although I would not be surprised. The serial number is 546288215. The car is located in Toledo, Ohio, and can be shown at any time.
