This Car has been a daily driver for nearly 20 years. Runs well. the vacuum unit is weak, but there are 2 spare vacuum units that go with it. Also spare alternator, power steering unit,starter, 2 drive axles, differential and other extra parts. The interior is in good condition but not perfect; a couple of puncture wounds on seat, the dash has a replacement cover, carpet shows normal driving wear and soiling. Many parts have been replaced in the time that I have owned it. I have numerous receipts. There is some minor rust as can be seen in photos. Normal nicks and scrapes, otherwise the paint still looks good. Much of the chrome and emblems have been replaced and generally look good. The tires are OK, the brakes are new, the steering and ball joints, struts and shocks have been replaced. The 240D is the same body style {123} as the 1982 300Dor 300E and nearly all parts are the same including the engine. As the only difference in the Diesels is the 240 is a 4 cylinder and the 300's are 5 cylinders. Mileage shows 369260, but the speedometer has been replaced. The correct mileage is closer to 300,000 Any questions please ask before bidding.
