Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1996 Honda Civic EX We are the Original Owners, have all the paperwork, Bill of Sale, from when we bought it from the Dealership. Physical Description is as follows: White, 2 Door, 1.6 Liter/4 Cylinder, 11.9 Gas tank, 4 Speed AUTOMATIC transmission, Shift-lever is in the center console between the two front seats. AM/FM Cassette Radio with 6 Speakers, AC, Cruise Control, Electric Moon Roof which opens completely or you can use the Tilt mechanism for partial air, Moon Roof also has a Manually Sliding Shade to block out the sun, Driver/Passenger Vanity Mirrors, Window Etching for Identification Purposes, 2 Cup Beverage holder in center console, Front Disc Brakes/Rear Drum Brakes, Driver/Passenger Airbags which have NEVER been deployed, Tinted glass from the Manufacturer, but also tinted all around by a Private Company, Lockable trunk with Valet Key, Tire Size: 185/65R14 Electric Windows and Side View Mirrors and Door Locks, Weight of Vehicle: 2511 Car Maintenance Schedule to date: 76,533 Miles: All tires replaced, 104,486 Miles: All hoses, belts replaced, timing belt kit, valve cover set, tensioner & idler bearings and power steering fluid kit. 103,027 Miles: Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drum Brakes replaced, Brake Spring Kit and Rotors Cut, 106,646 Miles: Extension pipe and Resonator replaced, 107,015 Miles: New Battery and lastly 109,222 Miles (This was just two weeks ago): Oil changed and tires rotated. Last inspection due on the Vehicle was back in May of 2010: Inspected May 27th, 2010/Passed Now for the BLEMISHES: The door key and the ignition key are two different keys, reason being the key ignition had broken and it was replaced with a new cylinder. Cigarette lighter is hanging out of the socket it sits in, don't know why, but it is, the wires are connected to the mechanism itself, but it hangs out, The radio antenna had broken, but we were able to usable, BUT, we ordered a new one from Honda and it is in the trunk waiting for someone to use it, the antenna that had broken functions fine as is, The back window had private tint, but due to rippling, we removed it, the driver's side visor clip broke so it is kept in place with one of those big snap-like paperclips, the drivers side back window's tint is slightly rippled, but not enough that it needs to be removed, The drivers side, side mirror fell out of it's casing, so the casing has a crack in the base of it, but is stationary to the car, but the mirror is loosely in there as it fell out and isn't totally stationary, which brings me to the electric mirror control, the drivers mirror operates to an extent, but at a certain angle, you have to then manually adjust it, Door locks operate electrically BUT only on the driver's side, you have to lock the passenger side button manually or from the outside with the key, The car DID have a Viper Passive Security System with Starter Kill and Shock Sensor with Remote Start, BUT, we disconnected it from it constantly going off, we have the remotes for it, On the lower part of the hood, there is a 10-1/2" key scratch, there is a dent in the passenger door, the hood also has a dent from not putting the hood stick down when attempting to close the hood, there is rust along the driver's side wheel wells in both the front and back. The horn does not work, for some reason one day it just stopped working, it could be something very simple, but we never bothered to look into it, the radio is sensitive where you have to play with the volume control up and down SOMETIMES to hear the radio, but it DOES work. There is an extra tire in the trunk along with the donut spare, the jack-set is intact in the trunk as well. The car runs as soon as you turn the key and she doesn't make any clanking noises.
