1957 GMC 100 270 c.i. Pickup. This has been an everyday driver with the hopes of up fixing up. I've purchased on Ebay a couple years ago. This has been passed to a few owners and appears to have been upgraded by a man in Sarasota Florida, who sold this on ebay for $6100. Here's what was said in the Ebay ad: This truck is in good shape with little Bondo in cab corners and door bottoms it has a cracked windshield and drivers side window is also. Frame is very solid and runs great, has org. seat-white with small crack, new parts are: power disc brakes front, new rear drums and hardware, brake lines, shocks, tires, bearings f/r, rebuilt 3 speed tranny on the tree, new clutch, water pump, fuel tank and lines, sending unit, wireing harness, gages: temp, fuel, volts, tach, AM/FM radio and wood bed, ... I beleive this to have been accurate, however over time some things have changed, I'm recently in the process of reworking the gages to look a little more period specific. The new gages are Autometer and looked bad glued behind the old bezels. So, the entire panel is in process of being redesigned. I've cut my own lenses for the gages and have created my own decals and needles for all gages. The brakes are awesome and the 270 c.i. motor runs great! The tires are in ok shape, I have the old vacuum wipers in a box, and have replaced this with an electric wiper moter. Gas tank and sending unit apear to be new. The radio is a Chevy remake/modern that isn't holding up very well but works. The bed wood might be salvaged. All windows except rear window has cracks. This truck runs great and starts well even on a cold day. I've driven this to and from work for the past year.
