Vehicle Detail

This is a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It has 4.0L engine, automatic transmission, 4x4, and has 117,000 miles on it. I have a hardtop and soft-top for this vehicle. You will not find a cleaner Jeep Wrangler at this age. It has spent its entire life in the south. Vehicle is located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Now for the details. The Jeep has a clear Ohio title, clean carfax. Has never been in any accident and has never been off-roaded. I am the third owner of this Jeep. I bought it from a friend who bought it from a friend at 108,000 miles. He owned it for 80k and had all service work done at local dealership. I have all service records for this vehicle. The person who owned it before him was a 70 year old man who bought it new. My friend said when he bought it, it still had the plastic on all the seats except drivers seat. Everything on this Jeep is in excellent shape. When I purchased it, I put new plugs and wires in it, changed transmission filter and fluid, changed transfer case fluid, changed both differential case fluids. This jeep needs nothing. I also installed a sony cd player and four JL audio speakers. The factory speakers would distort when turned up loud enough to hear them when you have the top off. Jeep has ice cold air conditioning and the heater works well when its cold. I also thought the tires on the jeep where a little small so I bought a set of 2010 Jeep wrangler rims and tires and put them on. Really makes the jeep look nicer and raised it up a little bit as well. I get compliments on the way it looks all the time. Everything is stock on this jeep. No lift kit, no aftermarket accessories, nothing. Soft top is OEM. It is in great shape and so are the windows. There is a section of about 4 inches where the stitching has come loose above the drivers door. See picture, but it does NOT effect the use of top. It does NOT leak. The stitching coming loose is in a flap where the water can not get into. It was like this when I bought it and it didn’t concern me because it didn’t leak. You could sew it up if you are that worried, but it does NOT leak. The windows for soft top are clear and you can see through them like your suppose to. Not faded or all scratched up like you usually see. There is a couple little surface blemishes in back window on soft top from folding up when not being used, but the side windows are in perfect condition. I bought the hardtop about a month after I purchased the jeep. It is in great shape as well. Couple little minor scuffs when if you look hard enough from taking it on and off, but nothing major. You’d really have to look to find a bad spot. It has the rear defroster and wiper on it but the jeep is not wired for it. The kit is $150 to do it. I didn’t see the need for it so I never bought the kit and hooked the defroster and wiper up, but they are there. Exterior of jeep is in great condition and especially for being 11 years old. It has its little stone chips here and there on the front end, but that’s normal for the age of this vehicle. There are no scratches or dents in this jeep. The only rust (very little surface rust) in on the hinges for the windshield. See pictures. The handles on the doors are faded and appear to have faded to a rust color, but they are not rusty. The frame on these jeeps usually rust with time. The frame on this jeep is 100% all there. Still has the factory black paint on the frame. Has a little speck of surface rust here or there on frame, but nothing that would hurt anything. See pics. Four wheel drive works well. Both high and low range. Interior of jeep is even better then exterior. Still have factory OEM floor mats that still look new. Absolutely no rips, stains, or fading on any of the seat. I don’t even think anyone has ever sat in the back because it still looks new. All carpet looks great and the only fading or discolor is on drivers side by the pedals. This is normal, see pics. Passenger side still looks new. All door panels are fine. No scratches and free of stains or dirt. Windows roll up and down just fine and doors lock and unlock just fine. Dash looks great as well as all gauges. This Jeep is in excellent shape for its age. Take a look at the Carmax paperwork. They even said “shows well overall”. This way you don’t have to take my word for it, this is somewhat my 2nd opinion and verification for another buyer. Their paperwork says everything is in good condition and working order. They offered me $5,500 and I know it is worth more then that. They have to make money on it so I know they offer low to start. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and to my knowledge there is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle. Will run many more miles without a problem I’m sure. I’m only selling it because I purchased a truck and no longer have a need for the jeep. Take a look at my feedback, it speaks for itself. There is no warranty offered with this vehicle and I have the right to end the auction at any time because vehicle is for sale locally. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at the end of auction. Seller has 7 days to make arrangements with me to pick up or work out a place I could meet them. Remaining balance of vehicle to be paid for via cash. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask or email me at ahalko150@hotmail.com My reserve price is set at $5,800. On Mar-14-11 at 04:54:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked quite a few questions about my jeep, so I'll try to go through the ones that have been asked. If you would like to come see and drive the jeep, feel free to set up a time with me and come look at it. That is fine and I encourage that. The vehicle report shows it was in the transmission shop. That is correct, as stated in original description I had the transmission filter and fluid serviced. There is absolutely no problems with the transmission. Runs great with no issues at all. This jeep comes with 15" rims stock. I didn't like the way they looked and thought they were to small so I bought a set of 2010 jeep wrangler rims for the jeep. They are 17".
