You will simply not find a better Explorer on the market for this year. This car was bought new from a local dealer and owned by the same family ever since. The Limited model is the top of the line model. I have a copy the original window sticker and the MSRP was $41,125. I am a car enthusiast and I take very good care of my cars. 100% dealer serviced. Oil changed meticulously with Synthetic blend Oil. I have all service records back to 2005. Body: No paintwork, no body work. Polished and waxed several times per year. Paint has a mirror finish. No visible scratches or dents. Not even a door ding. Has a hand-painted pinstripe. Rear badges were removed to create a clean look. Still have all original parts and they can be re-installed. Has 17 inch factory chrome wheels. They are still very shiny and look new. Engine/ mechanical- Optional 4.6 V8. This is a rare option for this car. It is the same rock solid engine that is found in mustangs, police cars, etc. Runs very smoothly. Last month, had a full tune up with new spark plugs installed. Top of the line Bridgestone Dueler HL tires installed last summer. Have about 8k miles on them. The last set of these tires lasted me over 60k miles. They have 1/4 inch tread depth remaining. These are the same tires that come standard on Cadillac Escalades and Chevrolet Tahoes. New brake pads last summer. All fluids changed last spring. Transmission, Power Steering, brake fluid, differential gear oil. Themostat and serpentine belt replaced in the past month. All brake pads we replaced last summer. Battery was replaced last summer and is still under warrranty. Interior- Leather interior. Heated front seats. Has 3rd row leather seat option. Has 3 zones of climate control, rear air-conditioning option (rare option) This gives you an upgraded compressor and controls in the front for the rear temp. AC system was completed refreshed last Spring with lots of new parts. Condensor was replaced. Driver’s seat was reconditioned 3 years ago. It has new leather, new cushion and a new heated seat element. This cost over 1200.00 at the dealer. 2 sets of mats for the front. Rubber mats and the stock carpets. Custom rear husky liner covers the cargo area. Has an audiophile grade stereo with an Alpine Headunit (with XM Radio built in). Has 4 volt pre-amp outputs, a built in crossover and a wireless remote control. Polk DB component speakers up front and infinity reference speakers in the rear doors. Tweeters are hidden in the front dash vents are completely invisible. Front speakers are powered by an alpine amplifier hidden under the seats. I also have the orignal headunit and speakers. They can simply be plugged back in if someone prefers to use the factory stereo instead. Value of stereo components is easily $1000.00+ New Explorer on the way next week. Used a dab of touch up paint and you can only see up close. Strictly cosmetic. The clear coating on the black driver's side B pillar is flaking off a bit. can only see up close and a very minor repair if one wants to. I can provide pictures of both minor issues.
