1998 Chevy 4 Door 2WD Blazer I have a 1998 Chevy 4 door 2wd blazer that I no longer have interest in. I bought it on 11/18/04 with 107,041 miles to drive back and forth to college. Counting this vehicle I now have 3 and this one needs to go. Vehicle is not perfect. The first main problem is it needs front wheel bearings. I have both, bought brand new from auto zone approximately a year ago and as stated before lost interest. I'd have to see if I can find the receipt, I believe they were almost 400 dollars for the set. The back window is missing one of the gas shocks, the window opens and shut's fine and does NOT leak. Another known problem is the temperature gauge will run all the way to hot once the engine warms up. The engine is NOT overheating, and I would assume this is a thermostat issue. The exhaust has a rattle to it, it appears to need a new bracket. I put a new battery in it a few months ago and it starts right up. The "Brake" light is on, on the dash. I have a switch inplace to disable the daytime running lights therefore the light stays on in the cluster. This was done due to the fact that when it was remote started the headlights turned on automatically and I didn't want them shining into neighbors windows. This truck has set in the driveway for the last few years. I had plans for it, and instead I purchased a few other vehicles instead.
