I bought this truck new and I think I put every option on it except the sunroof and Z71 package. I wanted a Denalli but did'nt want the gas eating 6.0 engine so I loaded up this SLT. It only has 46,952 actual miles on it (I'm retired). Its had synthetic oil in it since the first oil change and never went over 5000 miles between changes. The rear end fluid was changed around 40,000 miles. All brake pads and rotors were replaced 7000 miles ago and new rear disc calipers were installed. A new premium battery and new Michelin LTZ A/T2 P265/70-17 tires were put on it in December 2010. The old tires were not worn out or worn unevenly, but they just did'nt give me any traction in the snow. The steering, suspension etc are all fine and working perfectly. Everything else in the truck is original and factory. No aftermarket or performance parts are on it other than the Code Alarm remote starter/door unlock, Access roll up bed cover, bed rubber mat and bed/rail plastics, and all are in great condition. It has both factory key fobs. It is not in need of any maintenance or repairs. It has no door dings and no body work or paint repairs have ever been done on it. Its never been in an accident. There is a small dimple on the driver's side of the rear bumper that does not even show in the pictures. I backed up too sharply with my utility trailer and the corner of it hit the bumper. The paint has never been wheeled out, so the pictures show you how well it has been maintained through the years with just washing and waxing. I wanted to send it in for detailing, but my new truck came in early (today) and I have no time to send it anywhere. The trailer package with coolers is from the factory. It does not have the optional electric trailering brake system. The only thing this truck has towed is my 18 foot aluminum fishing boat and single axle utility trailer. GVW is 6900 lbs and it has a tow/haul mode for the 4 speed overdrive transmission. Its equipped with the ride control suspension which gives a nice smooth ride. For heavy loads or towing you just push the button on the dash and it electronically (NOT air shocks) firms up the rear suspension to take the load. It has the fuel injected 5.3 liter vortec V8 and a 3.73 rear end. The quadrasteer rear axle is the heavier duty one from the 2500 series trucks. It has the electronic locking differential. Thats why it has rear disc brakes. They simply changed the axle flange to have the same bolt pattern as the front wheels and spare. The quadrasteer axle makes the rear wheels stick out a couple inches further than the front, and thats why it has the widened fiberglass rear fenders with all the side marker and roof lights (required by the Feds). It gives it a nicer looking stance too, and the fiberglass fenders are much quieter than the sheet metal ones. If you've never driven quadrasteer you will love it. My wife can take it to the supermarket and pull into a parking space in one smooth movement just like a mid size car. Its a safety feature when pulling a heavy trailer too...theres a video about it out there somewhere. It was a $4,000 option when it first came out and got discontinued because nobody was buying it. The interior is beautiful and has never been smoked in. The headliner is unmarked and like new. The carpet has no stains, tears fade or wear spots. It has never been cleaned with anything other than a vacuum and has had the mats in it since new (they have been washed). We have no kids or pets, so theres no food or drink mashed into anything and no pet hair under the seats. No odors either. Dual power outlets. The leather is all supple with no tears etc. Both front seats are heated and are full power with memory seats and mirror settings for driver #1 and #2 and power lumbar/reclining feature and have fold down armrests that they eliminated in the newer models. The rear seat has never been sat in. It has a factory locking storage box beneath it which is a neccessity to keep your interior from getting full of junk. The interior rearview mirror is auto dimming and the Bose stereo is their top of the line model with 6 disc CD, AM/FM, XM and Onstar. Obviously it has power windows, locks, tilt, automatic speed sensored stereo volume control, dual zone digital climate control etc. This truck has an optional skid pan but has never been driven off the paved roadway. It has all the factory manuals. Sticker price on it was $38,580 plus the dealer installed $800 chrome step bars and protective bed equipment that I put on it. It has a clear title and payment must be by electronic bank transfer (or cash if sold locally). The buyer is responsible for all transportation fees but I have no problem with driving less than 200 miles to meet and transfer possession. I'm also flexible on delivering it to a transporter location.
