For sale is a very Nice 2002 VW Jetta GLS with an automatic transmission. I purchased the vehicle in November 2011 from a local VW dealer who received the vehicle in trade from the original owner. I really love this car and it has been my family driver since December 2010. Don't let the miles worry you, this is a solid car that runs and drives exceptionally well. Before I began using the car I had the following items replaced/installed: New timing belt and water pump, tensioner pulley, cam seal, crank seal, oil change, replace 4 Bosch glow plugs, replaced trunk release motor, replaced battery(properly sized Interstate battery), rotate and balance tires, replaced fuel and oil filter. The work was done by a mechanic that is originally from Europe and has been a long term TDI owner. Everything works on the vehicle to include: power locks/mirror/sunroof, AC, am fm cd player, cruise. The motor still runs great and the transmission shifts as it should. The 4 making Michelin tires are in good shape and have half or more tread remaining. My wife and I have checked the mileage on most fill-ups and this car has consistently performed with 38-44 MPG. On a recent road trip to my parents home in SE Missouri we got 44 MPG with the cruise set at 74. The body is in good condition with several minor,chips, dings and scuffs but is dent and damage free. The clear coat is pealing on the right fender(common on VW's) which doesn't show on the pictures but you will see on close inspection. I have a clear title in hand ready to go. I am only selling the car because I just bought a new TDI which I currently have at the repair shop getting similar repairs completed. I have the manual and 2 sets of keys and FOB. The heated leather seats are in great shape with the exception of a seperation in the driver's seat left side(see pic) the rear seats look nearly new!!
