(GE6068) 2000 Ford Taurus SE 4-door sedan, Engine 3.0L 2V 6-cyl, 6-passenger seating with Flip-Fold. This vehicle does run but the overall condition is poor. Current Registration expires 11/10/11 There are several problems. The odometer reads 5199 so I assume it is 51,990, but it might simply be broken.The following is a list of known problems, however, there may be more: The front tires need to be replaced. The rear brakes need to be replaced. There is no optical clarity in the headlights. The paint is chipping. The passenger rear door is dented. The frame is rusted. The front and rear-end need new ball joints and bushings. The transmission needs to be rebuilt. The boots on the CV joints need to be replaced. All the glass is etched and needs to be replaced. The engine cooling passages are rusted and cause the heater core to clog and leak (had to repair several times). All hard lines (aluminum and steel) on vehicle are rusted and will soon need to be replaced due to the corrosive nature of the Plants. The check engine light in on and there is a misfire – needs new plugs and wires. The cruise control doesn’t work. Lot of rust/corrosion. This vehicle has been utilized as a Plant support vehicle. It has operated in a very corrosive environment. What you see in the picture is what you get. The condition notes above are known problems but there may be others that we are not aware of. We can not guarantee anything after the unit has been sitting idle.
