Check out this incredible 1965 Impala SS. \ This is a beautiful car and gets a huge amount of attention when I drive it. In my opinion, this is the best designed Impala ever produced by the General. The paint is excellent, the interior is excellent and it runs great. It has a mild cam and Flowmasters so it is a restomod and it gets up and goes. The car has power steering and power front disc brakes. I rebuilt the front suspension with polyurethane bushings. I have the bushings for the rear suspension also - they go with the car. Odometer shows 50K. Not sure if that is original but could be. As you can see from the photos, this car has clean frame rails and great sheetmetal. You can put stick a magnet anywhere on this car and it sticks. The paint looks great from 20 feet away and just as nice up close. The doors close with a nice solid "clunk". What doesn't work: The radio, the A/C and some gauges (see below). I only drive it on cool nice days so I never found the need to fix the A/C. But as an original factory A/C car the components are there and best of all if you want to fix the A/C you don’t need to cut the dash as the vents are already there from the factory. I replaced the Powerglide with a TH700R4 transmission and installed gauges under the dash to replace the non-working dash gauges (the clock, odo, fuel gauge and vacuum gauge do work). I have the Powerglide in the barn . If you want it I can send it with the car. I also have lots of documentation going back ten plus years attesting to the work that's been done on the car and money that's been spent. I haven't added it up but I would guess it's over $20,000 not including the price of the car. Please look at the photos. I’ve tried to photograph as best as I can so you can see the condition.
