For Auction: 1997 Honda CBR 900. Here is the deal, I purchased this bike with the intention of fixing it up and making it back into the street legal rocket that it once was. It was most recently used as a track bike and ran last winter. It may need a battery and I have not even tried to start it since last year. So let me be clear, I am selling this bike AS-IS, running or not-running. I am not going to find out if it runs, I am just auctioning the bike so please do NOT ask me. The bike needs obvious work that is shown in the pictures. It needs a front fairing, odometer assembly, and mirrors. Obviously, this bike is a great deal even if it were bought for just parts. However, it is possible that you could have a street legal bike with a little additional investment. The title is clear. This bike can be used as a street legal bike (with a little work), a track bike (with a little work), or a parts bike. I do not know the actual mileage. Let me emphasize, this bike is not running at this MOMENT. It did run last year and I think it for sure will need a battery. This bike is absolutely sold as-is. All inspections must be done before the end of the auction. Failure to inspect before the end of the auction means that your the buyer. I will need a $100 deposit immediately after the end of the auction, no exceptions. THAT MEANS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE END OF THE AUCTION. If you bid, you buy.
