this 1997 dodge ram 1500 extended cab 4x4 is a new truck trade in to kevil chevrolet, due to the mileage and year of this truck it is being offered for sale in AS IS CONDITION. this truck is equipped with the 5.9 liter v8 engine with automatic transmission. we did test drive this truck approx 5 miles and found it starts up and the engine runs strong as the transmission shifted smoothly. the 4wd system worked upon demand, both power windows operate fine as well as the power locks. no warning indicators come on the dash, the aftermarket radio also works, please note: there is a cb system in the truck and is either not operating or disconected, the interior is soiled and the drivers seat is ripped on the side also the roof center panel is missing, while driving the brakes performed very well and all 4 tires are in good shape. the exterior paint is faded on the complete vehicle along with many scratches and some rust areas, please note from the pictures the rear bumper ( rusted ) as well as the front bumper along with a section of the right rear quarter panel. the bottom section of the drivers side door and cab also is dented. this truck is also equipped with a bed liner and tonneau cover, finally this has a nj state inspection sticker good till 6/2011
