This is a sharp looking old Jeep that has been partially restored. It has the original Mercury motor in it, 6 cylinder, along with a 3 speed manual transmission. There are problems with the transmission. It will go into gear, run but there is some jumping and the transmission will slip out of gear. It does have the PTO in the crankcase which will allow the jeep to pull a farm appliance such as a bushhog. Once transmission is replaced, this will be a good running project for someone. I am not a mechanic, but found a transmission in Colorado for $200. I do not have the knowledge to fix the jeep. Bought it from my son who origionally bought it to restore, but they have had a baby and he needed money. Wish I knew more about mechanics, because this old thing will be sharp when finished.
