Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1979 IH Scout II, Hello Scout lovers, it has come time for me to part with this great American Classic. I have owned this Scout since 2004 and have done some work to it however I have decided it’s time to let her go. Motor: 345 that runs strong with Edelbrock carb (I have an aluminum intake from IH Only North of California brand new which I have not installed). Trans: Automatic trans. which was rebuilt in 2007 at 78,150 miles it currently has 86,800 on the odometer. Body: The body is in good condition with a few dings however it is the original paint. The front drivers side floor and rocker have been replaced the inside was covered Rust Bullet then Duraback Liner (Very little rust, only rust is located on lower wheel well passenger side and some on windshield frame) Interior: all gages work, has AC unit but I have never used it so I don’t know it if works. I have some outdoor carpet in it which can easily be removed; bucket seats are from a ford Ranger. I also have a bench seat which matches the rear seat. Stereo/CD player works and I have a tilt steering column which I have not installed Other: It has a Skyjacker 4” lift w/poly bushings, HD Shackles from D/C Extreme, Bergeson steering joint, removable top which I rarely put on, Tires are in excellent condition, HD tierod from IH ONLY, new ball joints.( I only have one key for it the ignition key. Door looks are good but I lost the key. I was planning on replacing all locks when I did the steering column replacement.) This Scout is by no means perfect however it is a good vehicle and needs very little to become a great ride. All sales are final as is where is. No warranties or guarantees implied. A $500 deposit is required from the winning bidder, due electronically via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends, to hold the vehicle.
