2001 Honda Civic 2 door LX coupe with the 5 speed manual transmission. This Civic has high mileage as I use it daily to commute to my work which is 86 miles round trip. 430 miles a week. I bought it with 77K on it and have put nearly 100K on it myself. This car still gets nearly 38 MPG highway. I have replaced only tires, brake, pads, one battery and one alternator since I have owned it. I change the oil and filter myself at around 4K mile intervals. This car has been very reliable with zero break downs. Wear and tear commensurate with miles. Top of steering wheel liner is getting thin, A/C needs a charge. I put new front tires on in the fall and got a state inspection sticker no problem. They DO CHECK for emmission codes during state inspections where I live and no problems. There are a few areas with bubbling but no rust through on the body panels. Left rear quarter has had some body work at some point as the paint has signs of cracking just in front of the wheel, from previous work. The 3 Minor events that show up on Carfax reports, were all before I owned the vehicle. I bought the car off a guy attending Boston College who said he bought it off from a woman in the Boston area. I believe the right side damage was the front headlight as this lense looks clearer than the left. Not sure what the right side event recorded was though as I have not noticed any damage. It has a nice Alpine CD player with removeable face plate, but it doesn't work because someone got into the trunk while it was in my driveway and cut the cables and pulled out my AMP. Car was not locked so I made it easy for them. I'm selling this as I will be upgrading this spring/summer. I'm sure the pictures look better than in person, but this is basically a nice reliable Honda. Even with the high mileage these Hondas retain their value pretty well because they are so reliable. Reserve is commensurate with condition and mileage. I have 100% positive feedback.
