1996 geo metro I purchased this car from a guy my father worked with in 1997. I have owned it since. It has fairly low miles for a 15 year old vehicle. Only averaged about 6000 miles a year. Here are the good points. Mechanically the car is tight. Oil was changed every 3000 miles along with spark plugs and air filters at recommended times. I just put new brake pads front and rear and new rotors on front. This car has zero smoke. It starts faster than you can turn the key. Changed trans fluid at 88000 miles. No adjustments on clutch, it still has original free play. Runs and drives smooth. And the Bad. You can see by pictures the car has a rust spot under driver side door. The driver side door seal is damaged from me locking keys in car. I just never bothered to fix. I am assuming the water is running down along seal and sitting there. It does creep to floor. It does not leak on seat. I have car sitting in garage out of elements so it is not sitting outside. No air conditioning. Tires have good tread but have a little cracking. Nothing to hide this is a great car it just needs a little care. Check pics.
