This nearly 40 year old classic car performed perfectly on a 150 mile trip from Palm Springs. The body is accident free with perfect original gaps and still sports it's original paint, using a friend's Elcometer. the readings really do indicate it to be mostly original paint, there are a number of small hand touch ups, as shown, ( see pictures) and other minor imperfections, but overall the car has a great stance and presence. The chrome is in exceptional condition as you would expect for a Socal car. The interior is in overall excellent condition, the car was mainly used for short trips, so the driver's seat is showing signs of ingress and egress wear, ( see pictures) where the seam has split, but when you realise it is all original, never repaired, then it is totally in keeping. The instruments, idiot lights etc all function as they should and are in remarkable condition, the dash as well, save for one crack, the sunvisors are as new, and the carpets are original and in excellent condition and sport the original manufacturer's floor mats. A new headliner will be needed. Clock works intermitently, as does the cruise control, most certainly the on/off switch. Radio turns on and off but need new antenae, Steering is light and brakes pull up firmly. Indicators, wipers , lights and horn all work as they should. Overall you are looking at a running, driving, registered, licensed time capsule, which needs to be appreciated and enjoyed as is.
