1988 JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO 4X4 First of all the Jeep has 217k miles on it. It is a 4 wheels drive and is as nice as you will ever find. The car report shows an accident in 1994 but did little damage. Front bumper was replaced. The Cherokee has always been in the same town in Georgia and has been extremly well cared for. Since it is a Georgia Cherokee there is no rust any where. There is no body damage or door dings. The paint is in very ggood shape and has been well cared for. The interior is very clean with no stains or tears. There is one small wear on the drivers seat where you get in and out. The rest of the interior is great. Still has the original carpet floor mats. All the glass is clean and clear. All the chrome is bright and clean. The brakes are in good working order. The Jeep drives and handles as it did in 1988. There are no oil leaks and the fluids are are clean and clear. The transmission shifts smooth. The 4 wheel drive works in all positions. The Jeep was owned by a certified BMW mechanic and at 170,000 miles the engine was completely rebuilt including crank shaft, rods, pistons, cam, valves and everything else internally. The engine does not smoke or burn any oil and runs as good as it did when new. New battery, radiator, and water pump. The Cherokee has never been abused or misused. The original wheels are in great shape. The only thing wrong with the Cherokee is the original radio stopped working which I will try to figure out why and the passenger front window will not operate, which once again I will try to figure out. Other wise this is a great original Cherokee that I would drive anywhere. There is many miles and years left on this Jeep. You can fly in and drive home anywhere with confidence.
