Vehicle Detail

There is a lot to describe so I hope you have a few minutes to read about all of the modifications and full disclosure about the jeep. Let me start by saying selling my jeep is very hard for me. It has been my love affair for the last three plus years. This is my dream jeep and I built it to do two things, conquer trails and be able to drive it home. Now in saying that, she is not perfect. I built it for a purpose and I have used it for that purpose. This not a mall crawler, trailer queen, or anything like that, so if you are looking for a pristine jeep this is not it. It has scrapes, dents, and lots of patina. This is a seasoned trail rig that still looks good at the mall! All the suspension mods have about 15k on them. It has a factory Mopar sunrider soft top with tinted rear windows. The jeep was originally a dual top jeep, so it still has all the connections for the hard top. The hardtop made the jeep top heavy and didn’t take well to trail damage so I sold it before I did un-repairable damage to it. I have always performed impeccable maintenance to it. I run Mobil One High Mileage motor oil because it has an additive for flat tappet motors and keeps the camshaft happy. I always pressure wash and clean the jeep as soon as I get home from the trail. I keep the suspension and steering greased as needed. I check the air pressure in the tires before every drive to keep as even as possible tire wear. I changed the oil about 500 miles ago and just put new double platinum spark plugs in it. I also just changed the header/intake gasket. I put new control arm bushings and replaced all the stinger bushings about 3k ago. The jeep has a locking gas cap, cold air, cruise control, dana 44's front and rear, NP 241 rocktrac transfercase, 4.0 strait 6, and 6spd. I will be including all of my recovery stuff with it. That includes two 3/4" bow shakles, two 5/8" bow shakles, one tree saver strap, one T-max recovery strap, one small strap, the hose for the air compressor, tire chuck, leather gloves, machette, hitch reciever, jumper cables, and controller for winch. Ok, here is a list and discription of the modifications. As you will see, there is about 25K just in modifications. In private party fair condition, it books for close to $18,000 so the starting price is extremely fair. Engine Mods: -Edge trail jammer package (throttle body, computer module, cold air intake) -Banks stainless steel header -Banks stainless steel cat back exhaust system -Gen Right aluminum power steering pulley -Die Hard platinum gel cell battery -Gen Right battery hold down bar -M.O.R.E. off-road engine mounts Suspension Mods: -6 inch Nth Degree long arm kit, control arm mounts welded to the frame (new control arm bushings, stinger bushings 1k ago, have an extra new stinger heim) -Rubicon Express remote reservoir shocks on all four corners -Custom 1 ¼” .375 wall DOM front track bar with FK heim’s on both ends -ORO (Off Road Only) Swayloc dual rate front sway bar -JCR off-road sway bar mounts on the axle (they hit the springs and need a better solution) -Like new bias ply 36” TSL’s. The spare is new; the other 4 have about 4k on them and are probably about 75% tread life left. Drivetrain mods: -4.88 gears in both axles -Alloy USA axles all around (broke the pass front axle, it is a Ten Factory alloy now) -Spicer cold forged joints (new pass side, newer driver side) -Detroit SOF locker in rear axle (factory air locker in front axle, rear broke a long time ago) -Tom Woods rear drive shaft and transfer case yoke conversion Steering Mods: -JCR 1 ton over-the-knuckle steering system (all DOM tubing) -BDS universal steering stabilizer mount -BDS gas charger steering stabilizer Body/Interior Mods: -TnT Customs front tube fenders (4.5” flare) -Poison Spider rear trail corners -Gen Right rock sliders with step -ORO rear LED tail lights -ORO LED license plate light -Rock Hard license plate relocation bracket -Rokmen rear bumper frame supports -Gen Right add-on cage (replaced everything forward of the main hoop, braces in the rear, tied into the frame on the A-pillar) -IPF headlights and fatboy bulbs -LED side marker lights -LED front turn signals -Modified turn signal flasher -Front and side rock lights (for night time wheeling) -Remote jumper cable connection in pass side fender (jumper cables included) -Kenwood Excellon head unit with Ipod adapter -Polk MOMO 4x6 front speakers, 5.5” rear speakers -Bazooka 6.5 woofer to replace factory woofer in center console -Black neoprene seat covers front and rear -Warn front bumper (shortened about 5” on each side) -Warn rear bumper -Custom winch plate (flat, made from an old military duce and a half frame) -Warn Powerplant winch 9500lbs (rebuilt compressor, new cylinder, piston, head) -Viking Off-road synthetic 3/8” rope with aluminum safety thimble -ORO aluminum fairlead -Bestop rear tire carrier Skid plates: -Kilby steering box skid plate -Nth degree front diff slider -Nth degree rear diff slider (part of the lift kit) -Warn front and rear diff half covers -Warn gas tank skid plate -Nth Degree oil pan skid plate -Nth degree tummy tucker (part of the lift kit) Ok, now that I have listed all the mods, you can see they are not only extensive, but also costly. These mods make this jeep extremely capable. I have no problems tackling any trail I have ever put it on. This jeep amazes me and anyone that sees it in action on the trail. I can almost say that this jeeps capability will exceed your will to drive it on extreme trails. It also rides awesome on and off the trail. The Nth degree suspension really soaks up the bumps. The TSL’s don’t ride good on the road. If you put radials on it like I originally had, this rides like a Cadillac. Now onto the bad: There is body damage all over. The worst of it is on the passenger side. The rear quarter panel took a hard hit on the rock slider and slightly crumbled the panel. I got it back to close to original shape, but it really needs full rear corners to make a good repair and strengthen the panel. The windshield frame on that side took a hard hit from a tree and I had to do some major massaging with a hammer to get it back so I could close the door and get the soft top to seal. It shouldn’t leak. I painted the bare areas to keep them from rusting so the silver I found doesn’t quite match. The windshield was somehow not damaged. There are small dents on both sides of the cowl. The driver’s side windshield frame has a tree dent near the top but not like the passenger side. There is some scuffing and small dents on the driver’s side quarter panel near the door. There is a decent dent on the lower rear door opening from a rock while wheeling in Texas. The tailgate is dented from a 6 car pileup a few years ago. Other than the front bumper and a fender, that is all that was damaged. No airbags were deployed. The drivers door has a slight concave from being on it side, the driver's side mirror has a crack in the housing but the mirror is fine. The only other major thing wrong with it is the pass side axle bracket is folded over and should be replaced. I have tried to tell everything that I can think of, but I am sure I have forgotten a modification or two. If I think of anything else, good or bad, I will add it later. The title is free and clear and from Texas. If bidding goes over $15,000 I will include a green tool box with all my fluids, tools, and tool box for the trail. As far as delivery, I can help you ship it if you like. I don’t know of any carriers, but I am sure I could help you find one. I am located in New Orleans. You can drive or fly in and drive it home. I wouldn’t have a problem driving it all the way to California as it sits (not that I want to). I can deliver it up to 250 miles for the free, anything beyond that the buyer will need approval for and will pay for. I am a military guy so I probably can only deliver on the weekends. You are more than welcome to come by and look at it or test drive it. Drop me a email through Ebay and we can set it up. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask I will answer them as soon as I can. Thanks for looking!.On Feb-28-11 at 19:30:50 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions on my reserve, it is less then $15,000. I have noticed most other auctions make the reserve close to or the buy it now price. So bid accordingly. Like I said if the price hits 15k I will be tossing a bunch of tools and a box that fits perfectly in the space behind the seat. All of the recovery gear fits in it as well. Also, I am interested in a 94 to 97 LT1 and T56 combo (I prefer a 95) or a 98 to 02 LS1 and T56 along with a computer and harness from a camaro or transam. If you have a setup in good shape I would be interested in a partial trade. I do not want a 4L60E combo. On Mar-01-11 at 17:04:25 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot, I have a small cobra CB with the ant cable, base, ant mount, and powerstick ant. I took it off when I put the cage in because it was mounted on the dash and a bar goes across the dash now. I never put it back in. The ant is broken at the base but it still works. I was going to put a piece of pvc pipe over it and move the ant to the spare tire carrier to keep it from snagging on trees. Oh and I have a daystar dash cubby for on top of the radio I never installed. Both will go with the Jeep.On Mar-04-11 at 16:50:11 PST, seller added the following information: I just lowered the buy it now price to $17,000
