Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is my 1975 C-10 Stepside long bed. I just don't use the truck anymore and I don't have the funds to keep maintaining it. It is a good fixer-upper with rust mostly on the doors. The engine runs good but probably could use a good tune-up. I change oil regularly and maintain my vehicles properly. I have done the following in the last 3,000 miles: Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, belt, starter, head gasket, valve cover gasket, new radiator, and thermostat. The tires are in great shape too. This has the 250 inline 6 cylinder and has a 3-speed column manual trans. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking for the body. The interior is decent, the dash is cracked and I put the carpet to take the easy way out. The bench seat does need to be upholstered. I used this truck mainly for hunting and fishing on the weekends. It was my grandfathers truck and he had it since 1981 till I inherited it. The fuel tank and tool box are NOT included. High bidder is responsible for transport and pickup. Please bid confidently. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer and take any extra pics you might need. Thanks for looking. On Mar-02-11 at 03:03:11 PST, seller added the following information: To answer some questions I've been getting. There is a little oil leaking from the cover? on the passenger side of the engine, not sure what this cover is called but it's an easy fix, just never got around to it and forgot to mention it. The doors are rusted through on the bottom edge and there is surface rust on the rest of the body in certain places. It does run good but I think it could benefit from a carb tuning and I have a rebuid kit that goes with it. Thats just something else I never got around to. The truck is not currently inspected cause I hardly use it anymore and I didn't have time, but there is no reason why it wouldn't pass. I just wanted to describe this truck properly and I have nothing to hide on it.
