Vehicle Detail
This is an all original, nice, clean, straight, rust free driver that spent most of it's life in Los Angeles. It has the original 400 engine that came factory with 330 hp and 430 ft. lbs of torque. Sheet metal is clean, straight, rust free and appears original, trunk floor and frame rails are amazing. The interior is black in color and in nice shape. The AM radio is out right now, but will be included. Most of the weatherstripping and moldings are in good condition as well. Options include 400 hood with tachometer, th400 transmission, tilt wheel, floor console and Rally wheels, tires are in good condition as well. The car was painted about 6 or 7 years ago before I bought it and is nice but it does have a few flaws around the edges where they didn't do a very good job taping it. It has a 2.73 open differential and while it won't win many drag races with this rear, it cruises down the highway nicely, especially after I installed the Hotckiss suspension with a 1" drop. The motor runs good has #62 heads, factory manifolds with Pypes dual exhaust with turn downs before the rear axle. I did have an edelbrock 600 cfm carb installed a few years ago, but I do have an older 4 barrel that I can include if you wish. It will need power steering hoses. I prefer cash but may be interested in a trade if it peaks my interest. Keep in mind this vehicle is 41 years old and while it is in good condition, there may be some wear and tear, nicks, scratches, seepage etc. Please ask questions, feel free to call me anytime between 8am and 9pm eastern time, at 607-775-3995On Mar-01-11 at 19:03:33 PST, seller added the following information: Vehicle is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. On Mar-04-11 at 10:30:37 PST, seller added the following information: I just pulled it out of storage and it started right up (as I expected) and drove it over to my garage for those of you that want to come see it this weekend I did notice some antifreeze seeping either from the thermostat housing or where intake and water pump meet. I'm no mechanic, but it looks like it would be a rather simple fix. I just want to let you know so there are no surprises.
