1989 Honda Honda

Honda Tansalp. I bought this bike off the original owner. It had been setting for a few years so In 2010 I replaced the battery, Fluids and filters, chain, front tire and 1 coil. The back tire is like new so I didn't change It. This rare well cared for Honda Transalp runs perfect & looks great. It only has 14,100 miles on it. It has the 600 cc V twin motor that is smooth as silk. I added a trunk thats removable with a key so I could have some storage. It will fit a full size helmet in it. This is a very rare and hard to find motorcycle that sells for a lot more than I am asking. I am buying a Goldwing so don't need this one any longer. I need my luxury back. This bike was way ahead of its time in 1989. It is a cross between a touring bike and dual purpose bike. The dealers all told me about the cult following this bike still has. If you google transalp you will see what I mean. The bike was only sold in the US in 89 and 90. However it has continued on in Europe. They eventually went on to a 650 and then 700. The overall condtion of this bike on a scale of 1 to 10 is Tires-10, Mechanics-10, Seat-10, Plastic-7-8. The only reason this is low is because it has some scratches on the side of the faring where it was dropped on the trails. Nothing broke just scratched. The windshield is foggy so ... not sure why. My guess he cleaned it with something he should not have. Not broke just foggy. You can see that you don't look through the windshield anyway so it is just cosmetic. There is a crack in the skid plate that has been repaired. I don't know what else to tell you so ask any questions you have and I will answer.
