dragongoggles Store For sale is the nicest, most unique Honda CR125R around. This bike is so clean that if we were in California they would call it sanitary! *** Bike has nearly $2100 in upgrades and $600 in new parts, not including labor, and I have receipts for all new parts! *** Yes, I know everyone says their bike is clean, but I have pics to prove it and can tear the bike down to the subframe in minutes to show any serious buyer. I have been riding and working on my own bikes for more than two decades. Most of the bikes you will see for sale are owned by individuals who don't even own a service manual, let alone know how to properly maintain a bike. The only reason I'm selling this bike is because it was too much to handle for my wife who wanted to step up from her TTR-125. I have gone over every bolt to ensure it is meticulously clean, and as safe as any bike you would buy new off the showroom floor. Here is a partial list of upgrades, new parts, and maintenance: all with 1 ride or less on them. Upgrades: - Factory Effex Metal Mulisha Graphics Kit - Factory Effex Graphics Trim Kit - Acerbis Limited Edition Yellow Plastics - Zing RCP Gripper Seat - Zeal Racing Suspension (set for 175lb Intermediate) - Pro Taper Top Clamp - Pro Taper Bar Mounts - Pro Taper Contour "Ricky Carmichael" Bend Bars - Sunline SL-1 Titanium Foot Pegs - Full FMF Exhaust (Gold Fatty + Shorty silencer) - Billet Brake Reservoir Cover - Billet Tank Vent Hose - Moose Racing Magnetic Oil Drain Plug - ARC Clutch Perch and Unbreakable Lever - V-Force Reed Valve System New Parts: (Unlike so many ads that say "needs nothing" but in reality have hundreds of dollars in needed maintenance items, this bike truly has all the new parts that you would otherwise have to replace on another used bike) - Clutch w/ Heavy Duty Clutch Springs - Clutch Cable - Carb Rebuilt, including new seals, jets and vent hoses - Fuel Line - ODI Lock On Grips - Throttle Cable - Throttle Tube - Front Brakes - Front Wheel Bearings + Seals - Rear Brakes - Rear Wheel Bearings + Seals - Front Sprocket - Countershaft Spring Washer - Countershaft Seal - Rear Sprocket - Chain Slider - Chain Rub Block - Tank Strap - Silencer Sealing Connector - Expansion Chamber Seal - Shock Linkage Bearing - NGK Spark Plug - Axle Block Tension nuts/bolts - No Toil Air Filter - Extra Jets - Wash Plug - Front Brake Hose Clamp - Most fasteners replaced with Bolt brand motorcycle hardware Maintenance: - Fresh oil w/ Lucas Oil Synthetic - Fresh silica free coolant - All Swingarm bearings cleaned/repacked w/ Genuine Honda Moly Lube - All linkage bearings cleaned/repacked w/ Genuine Honda Moly Lube - Fresh Brake Fluid / Brakes Bled - Rotors measured to ensure they met spec and sand blasted - All bolts set to factory specs w/ digital torque wrench - Spokes adjusted to factory specs w/ spoke torque wrench - Axles Cleaned/Greased - Chain cleaned and lubed w/ Maxima Synthetic Chain Guard - Frame Polished ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is not only the nicest 2000 125 around, but one of the nicest regardless of model year. Guaranteed to stand out from the crowd, Acerbis made an extremely limited run of these yellow plastics. You will likely never see another. We recently purchased an RV and I plan on using the proceeds from this bike to make some upgrades to the RV. However, it is nothing dire so I'm in no hurry to sell (though, at this price I'm sure it will go quick.) If you want to save a couple hundred bucks and buy someone else's neglected nightmare that has never had the spokes tensioned correctly or from an owner who has no idea what a torque wrench even is, feel free; just please try not to crash your new death trap into me at the track :-) Unlike most guys who want to meet you at their storage unit to sell you a bike, only to never be seen again, I will be happy to head to the track with you and help you dial in your new machine (assuming you are a local buyer). It is currently jetted perfect to run on 93 pump gas, but I can help you set it up for race gas if you like, as well as help you dial in your suspension clickers, race sag, etc. I'm a card carrying AMA member and ride all the local tracks, so I'm not some guy "getting out" or who "never has time to ride" (which, in motorcycle speak is usually code for: "I've neglected my bike and don't want to ride it anymore"). Below are some more pics of new parts being installed, as I was documenting this for a few bike maintenance tutorials I was writing: - Most Honda owners don't even own the needed tools to remove the bearing retainer clips, yet the entire weight of your bike is carried by these crucial bearings and they need to be replaced at regular intervals. - A blind bearing puller is the only proper way to remove these bearings. Most guys simply hack their way through from the other side, doing irreparable damage to the rim and spacer along the way. - Again, without the correct tool it is impossible to correctly set the torque on this critical retaining clip. Also, notice the digital torque wrench, which takes all the guesswork out of making sure everything is to factory specs. - The all important linkage, meticulously cleaned with failed components replaced. This is a tedious job but can make the difference between enjoying a day at the track or a helicopter ride to the emergency room. There are also 91 needle bearings not shown that were replaced, with each being individually greased with genuine Honda moly lube before being reinstalled. - New Chain rub block installed - Air is one of the 3 critical components to an internal combustion engine. If the airbox on any bike you are looking at is not spotless, run away as fast as you can! - Here you can see the clean swingarm (with new chain slider) and shock have been reinstalled. Note the condition of the frame, subframe and swingarm. Many people "claim" their bike has low hours but the truth is that bikes don't come from the factory with hour meters, so they could have simply installed the hour meter long after they had already put a lot of wear and tear on the bike. The visible condition of frame components therefore, is a much better indicator of the actual ride time on the bike. - Here again you can see the condition of the frame components. This bike is incredibly clean! Also you can see the new carb vent hoses with new routing paths, along with a new crankcase vent hose. Plus check out the super wide, nearly indestructible Sunline Titanium footpegs, as well as the increased power generating FMF exhaust system. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check our 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence.
