For sale are two Jeep DJ-5G Postal jeeps. These were used on mail routes and parked in 95-96 (running fine when parked) Both jeeps are 1979 DJ-5G models. Both tanks are trashy and rusty and will need to be cleaned. One has been washed and will run and drive on trailer. The second has not been ran or messed with much but will run on and off. I feel it will clear up. Both are run off reserve tanks at the moment so you can hear run. Both transmissions shift smooth in all gears. One is rusty (mostly in the cowl). One is fairly rust free minus passenger fender and one or two small spots. Frames are solid and so is all the glass. Tires hold air but some leak down. Items are sold as is. Will need to be trailered away. The clean one has 16k miles and the non washed one has 13k miles on it. Both are equiped as follows Audi 121 four cylinder, 904 TorqueFlite automatic, D44 rear axle. These are 2wd jeeps. Both jeeps seem like the drivetrain is solid and will run good after normal steps are taken after sitting (tune up) These are Fun run around Jeeps and will make fun projects.
