This is a neat little GMC Sonoma "SLS" Extended Cab 3-door with the popular 4.3L V-6, auto. 2wd. that is loaded with equipment. The engine sounds great, no noise no leaks and is full of clean oil and runs like a rabbit. The oil change sticker indicates the oil was just recently changed by the previous owner. You can view the pic of the instrument cluster to see the good oil pressure with the engine warmed up at idle. It was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be an EZ-Fix for anyone and will be a clean dependable truck when repaired.
The damage is what can be seen with no hidden suprises. The front bumper was removed for inspection by the insurance company and gives a clear view of both frame horns. There is no major frame or suspension damage as you can see in the pictures. The radiator, condensor, fan and fan shroud are good and all 3-doors open and close as they should. This will be a basic parts replacer and will be an easy low budget rebuilder. Parts for Sonoma and Chevrolet S-10 trucks are very available and cheap! The hood will repair, there are no kinks back by the hinges and not broke away underneath. It is usually cheaper to replace a hood on these but this is your choice?
The truck will drive straight down the road but should be trailered or tow dolly home because of obvious damage and salvage title.
The overall truck is in good condition and the body will look to have about half the miles that show. When viewed in person you will be satisfied not to see parking lot dings, hail dings or any rust. Anything else will be normal wear & tear or you will not be obligated. The truck shows no sign of having a trailer hitch installed and has four good matching Michelin tires on alloy wheels. The tires may be inflaited with nitrogen?
The interior is in good condition with no rips, tears or seats broke down. There is no odor or signs of having smoked in and will clean up like new.
